Egypt and Kenya to Work Together on Water Conservation

Officials from the two countries have reached an agreement to join forces on a project to conserve the waters of the Nile River. The Egyptian delegation decided to commit to a Nile water conservation project that aims to develop infrastructure for irrigation and drinking water in Kenya. The budget for the project falls under the Egyptian Initiative for Development in Africa. The project promotes endeavors that have an impact on agriculture, energy, health and trade projects in the Nile basin.
