The Galapagos Hawk is an endemic bird of prey and has lived on the island for about 300,000 years. The Hawks can be found on most islands in the Galapagos and they feed on lava lizards, iguanas, tortoises, sea turtles and insects. They often hunt in groups up to three and vary in wing size from 46 inches to 55 inches.
