Barry and Shannon go behind the scenes on national parks, including the five parks in NYC, with Sue Chin, Vice President of Planning & Design and Chief Architect for the WCS.
They focus on the Sharks! Exhibit at Coney Island’s New York Aquarium that Sue and her team have developed since 2004. Find out how Sue created this large enclosed exhibit for an underwater atmosphere, and how the sharks are transported into the tanks. The NY Aquarium is working the Spineless exhibit, and the Playquarium for the younger visitors.
Explore Sue’s travels and WCS’ work around the world including Madagascar, Costa Rica, Kenya, Rwanda, and much more!
“What I love about what we do is that we provide those nature experiences for New Yorkers. We can give them a sense of what’s out there, and hopefully inspire them to travel, but also inspire them to care about nature” – Sue Chin
